Abigail Cook

To become an Osteopath Abigail completed a four year full time degree. This includes more than 1,000 hours of training in osteopathic techniques. Abigail is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association. Abigail also undertakes regular on-going professional development and has achieved further postgraduate courses.
Abigail uses various treatment approaches including the use of Cranial Osteopathy and Structural Osteopathy. Structural Osteopathy uses various treatment techniques including massage, articulation and manipulation. Exercises, stretches and postural advice will also be given to most patients, as Abigail feels that this is very important for rehabilitation.
After completing her four year full time degree at the European School of Osteopathy Abigail returned to Cornwall, having previously worked in the area. Prior to this Abigail worked for the NHS in Healthcare. In her spare time Abigail enjoys Pilates and walking the coastal footpaths with her husband and dog.
